Carvel Lane Coffee Delivery and Returns

Delivery – from early 2026

UK wide delivery via Royal Mail will be introduced in early 2026 – sign-up to the Carvel Lane Coffee Newsletter for news, updates and offers.

The delivery terms are as follows:

Online orders are dispatched on Wednesdays (cutoff 12 noon on Tuesdays) and Fridays (cutoff 12 noon on Thursdays) via your chosen courier method

So if you order on a Tuesday, your order will usually be dispatched on the Wednesday of the same week, unless you are notified otherwise with regards to stock issues.

We use the Royal Mail for all deliveries (nationwide for the United Kingdom. We do not offer delivery outside of the UK).

Depending on the size and weight of your order, you may choose the following Royal Mail services at the checkout:

  • Royal Mail Signed For – First Class Small Parcel
  • Royal Mail Signed For – First Class Medium Parcel
  • Royal Mail Signed For – Second Class Small Parcel
  • Royal Mail Signed For – Second Class Medium Parcel

Your order may be split into several parcels where it exceeds the weight and size of the specific Royal Mail parcel sizes and weight restrictions.

Returns

If you wish to return an item you must contact us first.

Any items returned MUST be:

  • Unused
  • In the original packaging – including the product packaging
  • In original, mint condition – so we may resale

Your must enclose your original delivery note, with the order number.

Where you are claiming that any item was received damaged you must notify us within 3 working days of the date of receipt.

Where a returned item does not meet these requirements then the refund is unlikely to be granted. Please do not ask for a return where you have, opened, used or damaged an item.

We reserve the right to refuse an item where you have not met these conditions.

You are responsible for the return postage cost of any items you wish to return.

Once the item is received and inspected, where it meets the requirements as above a refund will be granted for the original purchase price; refunds may take 7-10 working days from the date the refund is granted to your original payment method (but maybe subject to further delays from the receiving bank, outside of our control).

Perishable items

Perishable items, like our New Yorks Rolls, are exempt from the Distance Selling Regulations and may not be returned.

Please note, these are baked freshly daily and we advise that you choose the fastest delivery option available at the checkout. Freshness cannot be guaranteed where the delivery is delayed or extended (particularly where beyond our control).
